The Wilson County Democratic Party has partnered with the TN's Adopt-A-Highway program to help keep Wilson County beautiful.
After our first clean-up, a sign with the party name will be displayed on the stretch of highway we have adopted.
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!
We need 30 volunteers to commit to two hours of litter clean-up on West Baddour Pwky (Hwy 70) in Lebanon. Volunteers will be provided with video training and all the pick-up equipment to ensure safety. In addition, volunteers will receive WCDP volunteer shirts and bumper stickers as a thank you for helping the community. Water will also be provided.
For those needing service hours, this is a great opportunity!
As Democrats, we care about people and we care about our communities, which means we must commit to serving our county. Picking up litter not only beautifies Wilson County, it also ensures that wildlife is protected from ingesting harmful materials, and sets a positive example for those who litter.
If you would like to volunteer, please call 615-549-6220 or email email@example.com or send us a Facebook message.
Details regarding our meeting location and other pertinent information will be sent once volunteers are confirmed.

Mae Beavers will be announcing the launch of her 2018 gubernatorial campaign on Saturday, June 3rd at 1pm at Charlie Daniels Park in Mt. Juliet.
In addition to the divisive and harmful legislation Beavers has sponsored and supported, she has refused to engage in dialogue with her constituents who hold conflicting views. Many of her constituents were blocked on social media simply for expressing their views regarding various policies. Both Tennessee and Wilson County deserve a governor who is willing to do what is best for ALL Tennesseans, not just the select few who hold her narrow beliefs.
Please join us in protest at Mae's public campaign event. We encourage you to bring signs that state why Mae Beavers blocked you, or simply#blockedbymae

In the meantime, please call Governor Haslam and ask him to VETO this hateful legislation! 615-741-2001
